13Mb pdf file of all site descriptions (June 2006)
Associated files
Survex 3d files
can be downloaded for certain caves and areas. The Aven viewer is required and this can be downloaded from the Survex site. The version currently used is 1.1.12 (at May 2009). An alternative to the Aven viewer is the Loch viewer found in the Therion package. Although this doesn't show station numbers, it does display cave line and walls in stereo when viewed though red/cyan glasses.
Pdf files have also been produced for some surveys. The Acrobat viewer can be downloaded from here.
Png files have (in 2006) started to be produced from Tunnel. These can be viewed in a browser window.

The cave descriptions on the Matienzo web site would not be possible without all the "anonymous" log book contributors and the major input from the following contributors, either in writing cave descriptions, drawing original cave surveys, or contributing photographs:

A number of descriptions have been modified from previous publications and the primary authors of those include John Yeadon, Juan Carlos Fernández Gutiérrez and Peter Smith. Dozens more people have contributed to the text by writing up activities in the log books. The total of these contributions has given a particularly complete picture about the sites of speleological interest around Matienzo and their exploration since the mid sixties.
[Since the early 1990's greater contact has occurred between British cavers and others working in surrounding areas - (Tortosa, FCME, Lobetum, SEAD, Jesus, Alix, etc). And also the contributions of other nationalities. This needs expanding upon].
