The site has a powerful draught at times. Exploration and bolting in the
summer 2008 were hindered by swarms of flies.
Exploration was extended over 5 days as first "not enough ladders" then "needs
bolts" then "not enough rope" played their parts.
After passing through sandstone at the entrance, a 16m pitch drops to a mud
slope and rock bridge. The following p5 has a narrow pitch head but quickly
opens out, landing on sandstone blocks. A p11 with loose blocks all the way
down lands at the head of a further drop (p12) and a passage which quickly
chokes. The base of the p12 has a flat bottom and a narrow rift.
The site was collapsed - boulders and soil across the top of the entrance - when visited in the summer, 2011.
