Some time was spent excavating this site as it was thought it could be an
alternative entrance into Cueva del Torno and an easier
route to removing the human skull in that cave.
From the base of the sloping 6m entrance pitch (with a tightish top), passage
heads in 2 directions. Uphill to the southwest leads to a mud choke and bear
scratchings. Various bones were found in the deposits at this side of the
pitch chamber in 2007.
In the opposite direction, the passage swings to the northwest with bones
(1 femur was identified as bear and not human), a fine false floor and ends
at a stal choke about 5m below the surface.
The cave has been filled with sediment and the nice phreatic shape can be
seen in some of the photos.
