A short account of the blocked site has been published in a CDG Newsletter
(1996?).
The water supply resurgence before the equestrian centre on the way to
Solórzano, just before the turn off to Fresnedo. This area, to the
north of Riaño, has some potential. Sandstone beds to the NW have
diggable holes. The site is an arch, 3m wide by 1m high with a clear stream
emerging. The entrance was full of blocks which have been shifted and there
appears to be no problem with the water supply pipe. The dive descends to
4m at the entrance and then a further 3m over the next 60m. The passage is
comfortable diving and appears to enlarge ahead.
This was squeezed up through in 2002, beyond the end of Rupert Skorupka's
line, to a larger chamber which closed in and became awkward. This extension
has not been surveyed, is not included on the quoted length and not shown
on the survey.
